About

I am a retired IT Business Analyst and a conservative Catholic Christian.  This is simply a personal blog site where I record my take on the news that I read and research that I have done.  It is a place to which I can point people when I want to share my research with them.

I attempt to get at the real truth, even if it makes me uncomfortable.  I am well aware that, for every “expert” you can cite on one side of an issue, there is another “expert” on the other side.  What tips the scales for me is often the motivation or agenda of a particular source.  For mainstream sources, that motivation is typically (but not always) money, power or control.  Non-mainstream sources are sometimes just alarmists wanting attention.  But other times they are swimming upstream, risking their livelihoods, making great sacrifices to get the word out on something being suppressed by the mainstream.  I tend to listen to those sources, even as I take with them a grain of sand.

Why must you dare to seek the truth?  Because at this time in the U.S.A. standing up for the truth is often ridiculed, persecuted and punished.  People in power are using their power to control the narrative and suppress dissent.  These are the first steps toward totalitarianism.

You can just consume only mainstream media and follow the crowd if you want.  It’s the easy way.  I choose not to.

I am reminded by what Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14 (RSV): “Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.  For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”
